Nature Camp

Under The Sea

Intro to Middle School
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: Grade 6

Introduce rising 6th graders to middle school to help ease the transition.
Craft Camp
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: Grades 3-5

Join us for a week of fun craft activities. From tie dye to melting beads, animal keychains, faux stained glass and so much more! We'll have a blast being creative!
Wizard Camp
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: Grades 4-8
Cost: $350
Camp Leader: Dan Schwankl
We will start off the week with a trip to Diagon Alley to make wands with Garrick Olivander and pick out our robes and books for school from Flourish and Blotts. We will have classes in: Potions, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Divination, History of Magic, Care for Magical Creatures, and flying lessons. We will end the week with a Tri-Wizard Tournament to test one another's skill and understanding.
We’ll have quidditch practice each day as well as an opportunity for reading wizarding books inside when it gets hotter in the afternoon.
The camp will provide goodies from the Trolley Witch each day.
We’ll be going on at least two field trips, one for Herbology and one for Care for Magical Creatures. We will walk, or if all campers are amenable we will ride bikes/broomsticks. The camp will provide bikes/broomsticks. We have a number of helmets, but it would be best if everyone brought their own helmet.
Guitar & Ukulele Camp
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: Grades 2-8
Cost: $350
Camp Leader: Vlad Kary
Open to all playing levels! Campers will learn about reading music, tablature, chords, scales, rhythm, and improvisation through small group and one-on-one instruction. We will rehearse together as a large ensemble for and end-of-the-week performance.

Passport to Stories
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: Grades 5-8

Passport to Stories is a week-long summer camp for middle school students that takes readers on an exciting journey around the world—one continent at a time. Each day, campers will “travel” to a new continent and explore its cultures, traditions, and voices through engaging fiction and nonfiction texts.
In addition to reading and writing, campers will create art and crafts helping bring learning to life in a fun, interactive way. By the end of the week, students will have built a “passport” full of stories, reflections, and creations that celebrate global diversity.
Around the World
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: PreK-Grade 2
Cost: $350/full day, $175 half day (11:30-3)

Disney Dreamers
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: Grades 3-5
Cost: $350/full day, $175 half day (11:30-3)

At this immersive Disney-themed summer camp, campers become storytellers, designers, and dreamers! We’ll learn about Walt Disney’s inspiring journey, explore the history of Disney films and theme parks, and uncover the secrets of Imagineering. Campers will imagine their own attractions, analyze classic movies, and discover how creativity and teamwork turn ideas into unforgettable experiences.
*Option to combine with 1/2 Day Basketball camp.
Band Camp
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: 4-8
Cost: $350

All musicians are welcome for this engaging week of small group and individual instruction. Great for beginners and experienced players! We will rehearse together as a large ensemble for an end-of-the-week performance.
Basketball Camp (1/2 Day)
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
Rising Grades: Grades 1-5
Cost: $175
Camp Leader: Kenny King
Coach Kenny's camp welcomes players from all skill levels who want to continue to develop the basic techniques to play basketball at ICS and beyond. The coaches will teach the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, and screening during individual stations. The campers will later be divided based on their experience level before competing several contests/games for the ultimate prize: CANDY! It's sure to be a fun and competitive learning environment for all participants.
*Option to combine with afternoons at Around the World or Disney Dreamers camp for a full day.
July 6-10
Christmas in July
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Rising Grades: PreK-Grade 3

Sliding into Kindergarten (1/2 Day)
Times: 8:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
Rising Grades: Rising Kindergarten

Join us in the mornings this week to make new friends and learn routines for Kindergarten. We will have a great time while practicing skills to get your child ready for a new school year, as well as have fun with arts and crafts, making snacks, and lots of play!

Join coach Fitz for a PE camp, playing all the fun games of gym class like Spider ball, roadblock, dodgeball, and also playing lots of sports like basketball, soccer, and baseball. This camp is set up to encompass lots of exercise and lots of fun.

July 13-17
Water Week

We will keep cool this week with water play: explore under the sea, color mixing with water, bubble bins and splash day!
Ocean Exploration Camp

Rising Grades: Grades 3-5

Dive into an exciting ocean adventure! Ocean Exploration invites curious kids to discover the amazing world beneath the waves. Campers will learn about sea creatures, coral reefs, tides, and ocean habitats through hands-on activities, games, experiments, and creative projects.
Each day is packed with fun as campers become junior marine scientists—exploring shells, studying sharks and dolphins, learning how to protect our oceans, and even creating ocean-themed art. Campers will work together, ask big questions, and build a love for the sea while having a fin-tastic time!

Summer Camp Handbook
It is mandatory for parents to review and sign our Summer Camp Handbook before students are able to attend our summer camps. Our Camp Director, Barbra Murray, will send you the handbook and an agreement form before the start of each camp.
