The Home & School Association (H&SA) is a parent volunteer organization that bridges home and school life, enhancing the Immaculata experience for our students and families. Every parent or guardian of a child enrolled at Immaculata, as well as all faculty and staff, are members of the H&SA. Therefore, we encourage our whole community to get involved and invite YOU to attend an upcoming H&SA meeting

There are many opportunities to share your time and talents with our school. Volunteers are an essential component of student life and promote fellowship and community. If you are interested in becoming involved, please indicate your interest and someone will be in touch.

Anyone volunteering in the school while children are present must complete the Diocesan Safe Environment Training and have a Volunteer Form on file.

Meet the H&SA Board

The following Immaculata parents have made a commitment to supporting our school through volunteerism and leadership. If you'd like to learn about volunteer opportunities or join the H&SA Board, please contact Kathy Badillo.

Nicole Zakowicz, President

ICS parent and ICC parishioner. She works as an economic damages expert and has a B.S. in accounting and finance from Boston College. Ms. Zakowicz loves volunteering at ICS to see her kids while also helping to make Immaculata even more special than it already is. Ms. Zakowicz also serves on the Parish Finance Council.

Megan Neely, Vice President/Treasurer

Ms. Neely served as H&SA secretary last year as a new parent to Immaculata. She is Wyatt’s (4th grade) mom and loves crafting and building legos with him. She works as a faculty member in the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics department at Duke University. Ms. Neely also serves on Immaculata's Parent Advisory Committee.

Meredith Toma Moorman, Secretary

Olga Rodriguez

Olga is the parent of Sara (rising K) and loves all things Immaculata!  Olga works as coordinator of stewardship at Immaculate Conception Parish.  Olga has fond memories of her years in Catholic School and would love for others to look back at these years the same way.

Katie Merritt is the mom of three current ICS students. She enjoys volunteering at school to stay involved with her boys’ education and to help make and keep Immaculata amazing. She is an attorney in Hillsborough, NC with her firm Coleman, Merritt, Murphy and Rainsford, PC. When she isn’t at work or school, you will find her participating in athletics with her boys or enjoying local community events.

Tiffany Long

Tiffany has been an ICS parent since 2012 serving as the Social Chair, a room parent and an active member of the African American Heritage Committee. Tiffany is a Durham Native and works at Blue Cross NC as a Strategic Provider Advisor. She is the proud parent of an Immaculata Graduate that is furthering his education at Cardinal Gibbons High School.

Allison Keenan

ICS parent and ICC parishioner. Mrs. Keenan is a mother to four children at Immaculata. She earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
