Parents and the Community

At Immaculata, parents play an active role in the life of the school. We strive to maintain tuition that is low and still financially responsible. We also provide a high quality academic program with extracurricular opportunities. To accomplish this, we have to rely on members of the community to provide resources and services. Parents support the school by helping in the offices, lunchroom, designing advertising copy, and proofreading reports and curriculum materials. Parents also serve as coaches, mentors, tutors, and liaisons to other organizations. Parents work with staff to organize the annual auction and the Spring fund raiser. Parents also participate in more traditional fundraising activities.

Parents at Immaculata want to be involved in their children's schooling and there are many opportunities for the sharing of time, talent, and treasure.

Home and School Association
The Home and School Association (H&SA) is the parent organization for Catholic Schools. Most families at Immaculata are members of the H&SA. The H&SA supports the goals of the school by fundraising, recruiting volunteers, organizing community events, and providing education about issues of interest to parents and families. Thanks to the efforts and vision of the H&SA, Immaculata boasts a new state-of-the-art computer network and computer lab.

Special Events
Parents and community members provide the expertise, organization, and resources that result in our annual silent and live and Spring fund raiser such as a Walkathon. These two events raise funds to support the school. Financial assistance and building and grounds improvements have been supported by these fundraisers.
