"Before Immaculata, I was only going through the motions of school. But here, I was more engaged with my learning. The hands-on activities really helped open my mind to the excitement of school."

A Rigorous Curriculum with Individualized Attention

Immaculata Catholic School has a child-centered focus to help each student succeed. Our teachers are trained and strongly encouraged to differentiate instruction to each student’s learning style. All students receive the same excellent education, developed by the Diocese of Raleigh, which fosters the development of the whole child. Some highlights of our curriculum are explained in detail below.

STEM Education

Picture
Immaculata is proud to be the FIRST middle school program in North Carolina to have the distinction of earning AdvancED STEM Certification. This certification recognizes our commitment to preparing students for the careers of tomorrow. Cross-curricular design challenges and hands-on learning enhance subject comprehension as well as an understanding and appreciation of the process of innovation over results. We value “failure” for providing data as well as opportunities for critical thinking, improvement, and self-growth.
